My Story
A Suitcase, a Heart Full of Dreams, and March 2001
In March 2001, I arrived in the United States carrying one suitcase, a heart full of hope, and a lifetime of dreams.
Like so many who choose to build a new life in America, I knew the road ahead would require hard work, resilience, and faith. I didn't know exactly what my future would look like — but I believed that if I stayed determined, embraced every opportunity, and never stopped learning, I could build a meaningful life for myself and my family.
The journey wasn't always easy. Building a life in a new country meant adapting to a different culture, learning from every challenge, and celebrating every small victory. Those experiences became my greatest teachers.
Today I am incredibly proud to be an American citizen. This country has given me opportunities that changed my life forever, and I carry an immense sense of gratitude every single day.
